GFC has 141 window A/C Units that have to be installed every spring and removed every fall. Most of these units will no longer meet federal ODS regulations in 2015 and must be replaced. The existing ones are expensive to operate as they are not very efficient. 7 units have been replaced in the last few years and these already contain R410a and these do no need to be replaced. These are installed in rooms 131, 446D, 555, 556, 560, 576A, and 667. This leaves a total quantity of 134 units that need to be replaced and disposed.

The Gulf Fisheries Building has approximately 150 window A/C Units that have to be installed every spring and removed every fall.
The scope of this project is to supply all new A/C units and to remove and dispose of the old A/C units.
