Description

The Enforcement Branch under Environmental Canada has a need for a Special Purpose Space.

General Description:

1. Construct two new rooms:
-Lab room: The space will be used for calibrating field testing instruments, preparing sample preservatives and dissecting samples (fish, waterfowl). A large lab grade sink/plumbing and bench are required as well as venting.
-Interview room: The room will be used for suspect/witness interviews and statement taking. Construction specs must be based on the RCMP physical security requirements related to the construction of Secure rooms.

2. Reconstruct the following existing space:
-Enlarge the current Firearm/Evidence room: Construction specs must be based on the RCMP physical security requirements related to the construction of Secure rooms (G13-01 & G3-02).
-Removal of a portion of the North wall to open up access to adjacent office space.
-Retrofit Production and meeting rooms to create a new kitchenette.
